Mike Shanahan Agrees to Coach Washington Redskins, Denver Post Reports
By Erik Matuszewski Jan. 5 (Bloomberg) — Mike Shanahan , who won two Super Bowl titles during 14 seasons with the Denver Broncos, reached an agreement in principle to become the coach of the Washington Redskins, the Denver Post reported . Shanahan will receive a five-year contract worth about $7 million a year, the Post said, and may be presented as the new coach tomorrow
